The Perfect Parfait Season 2 Trailer — New Guests, Live Music & a Bigger Parfait Palace

Season 1 of The Perfect Parfait ended with Tim Heidecker, a live performance by the pool, and six custom parfaits that collectively failed to cost Hunter Cope his retirement fund. Season 2 arrives with a simple question: what happens when a show built on friendship goes out into the world and starts booking people it hasn’t known for years?

The answer is in this trailer. The Parfait Palace is back. Chef David Codney is back. Bandleader Dory Bavarsky is back. And directors Danny Simmons and Joe Angelo Menconi — the executive writing producers who have shaped every creative frame of this show — are back with a season that’s bigger, louder, and now features live musical guests in every single episode.

What’s New in Season 2

Live Music Every Episode — Season 2 introduces a full live performance in each episode, with musical guests including Monica Martin and Valley Boy performing at The Parfait Palace alongside each week’s comedy guest.

A Wider Guest Roster — Season 1 was built almost entirely on friendship. Season 2 is almost entirely non-buddies. Hunter Cope, Danny Simmons, and Joe Menconi reached out and landed a lineup that proves the show has earned its place beyond its origin story.

The Same Production Standard — Every episode continues to be shot in 4K full frame and finished with a professional color grade by Broken Dove Productions. The standard doesn’t change.

Season 2 Guest Lineup

What Stays the Same

Chef David Codney continues to design every parfait from scratch — tailored to each guest’s creative persona, still chasing the verdict that would cost Hunter his entire 401k. Dory Bavarsky anchors the musical energy throughout every episode. And the Parfait Palace remains in Encino, California, where Danny Simmons and Joe Menconi have turned a backyard into one of the best-looking sets on the internet.

The Perfect Parfait Season 2 is proof that independent television — made with real craft, real relationships, and a real production company behind it — can grow without losing what made it worth watching in the first place.
